Our Studio

Before founding our studio, Frances built a distinguished career designing residential, hospitality, and commercial projects with some of Canada’s most respected architectural and interior design firms. Her portfolio includes notable projects such as Koerner Hall at The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Second City Comedy Club, and Nota Bene Restaurant, each reflecting her ability to balance creativity, precision, and purpose.

Since establishing Frances Lago Design in 2015, the studio has thoughtfully realized numerous residential and hospitality interiors, each defined by meticulous attention to detail, a deep respect for architecture, and a genuine commitment to understanding and responding to the needs of every client.

Our team draws inspiration from the people we design for, the character of each space, and the architecture that surrounds it. Through thoughtful collaboration with artisans, makers, and skilled trades, we create interiors that feel beautifully curated, masterfully crafted, and timelessly lived in.
